The Wiper Democratic Movement’s NEC/PG Resolutions On 20th March 2018

Following our Summit meeting at Stoni Athi, 8 days ago, The Wiper Democratic Movement’s NEC/PG has today met and resolved as follows:

1. As a Party, we appreciate the initiative by H.E. Uhuru Kenyatta and Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga on an all-inclusive and structured dialogue. As a Party, we are on record in promoting dialogue as a way of healing our country.

2. As a Party, we support a strong National Super Alliance (NASA) with all the four political parties holding together. We support the Bomas Constitutional Draft as the basis for a review of the 2010 Constitution.

3. As a Party, we do not support the purported removal of Sen. Moses Wetangula as the Senate Minority Leader. Indeed, our position is that Wetangula holds his position courtesy of a decision by the Summit leaders – Hon. Raila Odinga, Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka, Hon. Musalia Mudavadi, as well as Sen. Wetangula himself. Wiper fully supports the Summit’s position on this matter.

God Bless Kenya.

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has hailed the resignation of former South African president Jacob Zuma saying it is a sign of change coming to Kenya.

Kalonzo on Saturday said the current political events where long-serving leaders have had to exit is a clear indication that NASA’s quest for electoral justice is on the right path.

He spoke during the burial of Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana’s brother in-law Prof Lenno Mbaga in Kikambala, Kilifi county.

The NASA principal also cited the fall of Zimbabwe’s Robert Mugabe and the recent resignation Ethiopian Prime Minister Hailemarian Desalegn.

“Mugabe left office after clinging to power for far too long. No life was lost during his exit because the people of Zimbabwe felt it was time for change,” Kalonzo said.

“Zuma tried to resist but he was forced to. In this country, the people shall also decide and push some people out of office.”

He said the developments in the African nations “should serve as an eye opener for Kenyan politicians who think they will rule the country forever.”

Kalonzo has been on the spot after skipping the swearing in of Raila Odinga as the people’s president on January 30.

But on this, he asked NASA supporters not to be distracted from the fight for electoral justice.

He has maintained that his absence at the fete, which was also skipped by Musalia Mudavadi (Amani National Congress) and Ford Kenya’s Moses Wetang’ula, was a strategy.

Dismissing claims that the coalition is on the verge of collapse, Kalonzo said the NASA team is united and focused to propel its agenda forward.

He said the coalition will hold its national summit to address on the pending issues before embarking on his swearing in as the deputy people’s president.

Kalonzo Musyoka outs another grand plan of rigging the August election

The NASA alliance has raised fears that Jubilee is planning to increase the number of polling stations in order to rig the elections in August – Kalonzo Musyoka observed that the number of polling stations in Kenya keeps increasing and the IEBC is not giving a definate number – He said that Jubilee was planning to increase the number of polling stations in opposition strongholds and give Jubilee an upper hand – Kalonzo also revealed that Jubilee used an underground cable to connect the TNA tallying centre to the National tallying centre that helped in rigging – Previously, NASA also contested the award of the ballot printing tender to the Dubai based firm Al Ghurair citing its links to Uhuru Kenyatta The NASA alliance has accused the IEBC yet again of working with Jubilee to rig the August General Election.

H.E HON KALONZO MUSYOKA’S NEW YEAR MESSAGE TO KENYANS.

Fellow Kenyans,

As we bid farewell to 2016 and usher in 2017, I extend my heartfelt New Year wishes to each and every one of you.

Year 2016 has been a period of great challenges to the people of this nation. Kenyans have been ravaged by rampant corruption, causing severe socioeconomic hardship to wananchi. Insecurity has plagued different parts of Kenya. The Eurobond and NYS scandals remain unresolved. We are in the throes of a crippling doctors’ strike that is putting lives of many Kenyans in grave danger.

But all is not lost.

On behalf of the Wiper Democratic Movement, the entire CORD fraternity, and on my own behalf, I urge you all, fellow Kenyans, to keep hope alive.  Walk tall! Good tidings are coming your way in 2017. WDM-K/CORD is determined to ensure that Kenyans get the kind of leadership they deserve — the kind of leadership that will steer and inspire Kenya to socio-economic prosperity.

I therefore call upon all Kenyans who cherish democracy and good leadership to ensure that they register in huge numbers and elect a Wiper/CORD Government. Were it not for CORD keeping Jubilee on its toes, Kenya would be in a far much worse state than it is at the moment.

To our Jubilee competitors, I urge you to avoid placing any bottlenecks against a free and fair General Election.

God Bless Kenya! God Bless You All!

H.E. HON. STEPHEN KALONZO MUSYOKA, EGH,

PARTY LEADER, WIPER DEMOCRATIC MOVEMENT-KENYA
